How to Protect Yourself against Computer Hacking

Everybody is susceptible to computer hacking.  Take for instance the case of Scarlett Johansson whose phone was allegedly hacked and whose naked pictures could circulate over the web.

However, children are generally considered to be more susceptible of computer hacking.  In general, they do not treat the matter of computer security as essential. They also have the tendency to take their privacy for granted.

1. Protect your password.  Also, do not give away your password to anybody. It is suggested that your passwords should be ones that nobody knows.  

2. Have different sets of passwords for different accounts.  If you have multiple accounts make different passwords for each of these accounts.

3. Try to change your password regularly.  If you feel that your password has been compromised change it immediately.

4. Avoid handing over your cellular phones to your friends.  When you lend your phone to your friend, they may check your Facebook account and read messages that they are not supposed to read.  

These tips are applicable not only to children but even to adults.  We should all understand the importance and serious of computer security in our lives.
